From the Principal

Welcome to the King Street School. We invite you to take a glimpse of the many wonderful programs we offer. The King Street School faculty and staff take a humanities approach to teaching and learning and strive to connect all curricular disciplines. Fine Arts play a major role in the educational experience of our children. All students visit museums, attend plays and listen to concerts. We are members of the Neuberger Museum and Performing Arts in Education at SUNY College at Purchase. Our association with the Neuberger gives us the benefit of a grant which provides multiple docent visits, exhibit visits and visiting artists each year. Our Literacy Through the Arts Grant brings visual artists, dancers and other artists to every grade. King Street School teachers are lifelong learners. All of our teachers have masters' degrees and many have sixty or more credits beyond their masters.
