The PTA sponsors a wide variety of events and activities for our children that depend entirely on parent volunteers.

Annual Awards & Scholarships

  • Enrichment Funds for every classroom teacher are used for anything from offsetting class trip expenses to new books to alternative seating.
  • Mini-Grants for even more supplemental classroom supplies such as printer cartridges, supply carts, and electric pencil sharpeners!
  • Annual PCHS scholarships awarded to 2 former KSS Lions graduating from PCHS with a winning Essay.

Year-Round Fundraisers / Promotions

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

  • Find Box Tops on hundreds of products (visit www.boxtops4education.com to see a list of products). 
  • Clip the Box Tops from the package or download the new app and skip cutting out the box tops all together!
  • Send the Box Tops to the school in your child’s backpack or deliver to PTA Mailbox.
  • Collections are ongoing all year. We submit Box Tops twice a year and receive cash payments in December and April.

STOP & SHOP A+ Rewards

Earn cash for KSS PTA while you shop for groceries!

  • The program runs October thru March. 
  • Visit www.stopandshop.com and select Savings & Rewards. Follow the prompts to register your card using the 13-digit number on your rewards card and entering the school ID #05710. We’ll tell you when registration begins in September.
  • No need to re-register your card every year! Once registered, you’re all set!
  • KSS PTA receives cash rewards in April or May.

AMAZON SMILE

  • Visit www.smile.amazon.com and log in (or create an account).
  • Select our charity: PTA New York Congress 18-081 King Street Elem School PTA. Once you’ve selected a charity, it will be linked with your account moving forward. 
  • Log in through www.smile.amazon.com every time you shop. 
  • Amazon Smile Program donates .5% of the purchase price on eligible items to the KSS PTA.

Avoid the lost & found - remember to label all valuables.

  • Visit www.oliverslabels.com/KSS to shop for custom labels.
  • Label clothes, hats, jackets, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc.
  • 20% of each purchase will support KSS PTA.
