Star Tales with Lou Del Bianco (1 hour assembly program) – Storyteller/actor Lou Del Bianco involves students in listening to and acting out star tales from around the world.
Partnership with Jacob Burns Film Center - See Hear Feel Film - See Hear Feel Film teaches students active viewing skills and techniques of telling a story through film. After watching short films from around the world to spur their creativity, the children learn to write with clarity and confidence, improve their storytelling skills, and become keener observers of the world around them. The curriculum consists of five units, each featuring short films, writing exercises, and creative collaboration. All students receive a JBFC Film Journal for their personal writing, drawing, and reflection.
